Position Purpose:

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for identifying, implementing, and providing oversight for strategic technology solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. The role requires a blend of business acumen, project management, and technology expertise. The purpose of this position is to deliver against processes and mechanisms that provide operational and technical support to key business unit leaders, internal and external customers through enterprise technology functions and services. These functions and services include, Sales Operations and Enablement, Membership, Products, Marketing and Finance.  The Business Systems Analyst will leverage in-house software applications, infrastructure, architecture, and outsourced third-party solutions to ensure effective deployment of customer focused, fiscally responsible, efficient, and effective business technology solutions.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Technical troubleshooting support for internal and external customers via helpdesk and direct communication.
  • Provide and lead platform level oversight for development, project management, and technical implementation teams’ in delivering solutions for internal and external customers.
  • Support best practices in the build and maintenance of formal processes that drive efficiency for business operations functions in delivering value to both members and customers. (I.e. Prioritization, Data Governance, Technical Support)
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify, analyze, provide recommendations, design, and prioritize potential projects and technology solutio
  • Lead the evaluation and analysis of current workflow processes to determine feasibility of re-engineering and/or automation along with evaluating business needs against current systems capabiliti
  • Gather business requirements, perform business analysis, provide training and support, lead functional quality assurance, and drive Governance to the organization of foundational software platforms.
  • Partner with the Manager Business Systems Solutions to develop and present requirements and analysis to business leaders and IT management team using the appropriate templates or tools along with cross-functional process and system dependencies to align with business unit objectives.
  • Documentation of business and systems requirement definition, testing, training, implementation and support.
  • Provide advanced expertise and mentoring to other staff as needed to support projects/initiatives or resolve problems.

 

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Four (4) to seven (7) years experience in technical project management and/or business analysis with demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects and producing deliverables on-time
  • Strong customer service skills with direct experience managing or working in an internal technical ticketing queue.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage technical projects effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Successful experience in operationalizing and training others in the areas of, functional design creation, and key business processes
  • Experience with CRM/Salesforce, Marketing Technology, Financial ERP software solutions for mid to large size organization and Association Management Software Solutions.
  • Ability to understand, utilize and work in various technical environments i.e., applications development platforms and IT infrastructure and architecture.
  • Strong analytical, planning, technical, and presentation development skills.Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
