The purpose of this position is to generate and achieve revenue objectives for specific products, programs, and services. The Sales Development Associate is HIMSS Analytics’ primary contact with new prospects. He or she is responsible for promoting and selling of all HIMSS analytics products and services in accordance with approved sales policies and programs and representing HIMSS Analytics in accordance with its policies, maintaining an awareness of competitive conditions and reporting them back to management and making the revenue goals assigned to them. He or she initiates and maintains continuing sales relationships with approved new prospects calling on them in a regular and consistent manner. He or she is also responsible for achieving their sales and objectives in his or her assigned area.
