About the Role: 

As we continue to expand our presence in the region, we seek a dynamic and strategic Senior Lead for Event Content & Programming. This role will be responsible for shaping the content and overall strategic program direction of high-profile events such as the APAC conference, executive summits and masterclasses, and professional development courses aimed at healthcare professionals. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and partners to develop compelling event agenda and content that drives thought leadership and capability development in the region.

 

** This role is located in Sinapore, must be local to Singapore and legally authorized to work in Singapore **

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Event Content Development
  • Formulate and implement a holistic content strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, utilizing thorough research and analyzing market trends and competitor strategies to refine event content approaches and staying abreast of market trends and audience preferences.
  • Lead the design and development of content tailored for events such as conferences, symposiums, and roundtable discussions, ensuring relevance and impact.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to integrate up-to-date insights and perspectives for relevant and timely programs that align with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Employ strong writing and storytelling skills to produce engaging and informative event content.
  1. Professional Development Course Design and Management
  • Define and implement a professional development strategy for the region in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance professional development and training courses, creating new products or customizing existing courses/curriculum where necessary according to business needs.
  • Identify relevant subject matter experts and collaborate with them to design and produce learning modules with clear learning objectives and relevant content that support the career development of healthcare professionals and leaders.
  • Ensure that the content is relevant to the respective healthcare systems across APAC, aligning with trends and addressing respective challenges.
  1. Program and Event Execution
  • Work with team members to ensure smooth event execution, from content delivery, speakers management, logistics to post-event evaluation to ensure continuous improvement and high satisfaction among attendees
  • Oversee the administration of professional development courses, such as scheduling trainers, providing training materials and being the liaison point for program delivery matters
  1. Research and Content Innovation
  • Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, professional development needs and competitor offerings to keep course offerings and event agenda relevant and forward-thinking.

 

What you will need to be successful:

  • 8 or more years of experience in event content strategy, program development and/or strategic planning, preferably within the healthcare, technology or digital health sectors:
  • Proven track record of designing and executing events and programs of various sizes and scope. E.g conferences, masterclasses, roundtables, summits etc.
  • Experience in developing learning and development programs such as training courses
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent content creation and curatorial skills, with the ability to develop compelling event agendas and programs.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
  • Adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in addressing challenges and embracing new opportunities as they arise.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
