Position Purpose:

This purpose of this position is to deliver and fulfil membership services to our members, support community engagement and general administrative duties.  A successful candidate will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives designed to increase membership growth, engagement, and retention.  The role will also require the candidate to Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-Suite executives, senior leadership, and key decision-makers from healthcare providers, government agencies, professional associations, and other allied organizations.

 

Primary Accountabilities (but not limited to):

  • Membership:
    • Take ownership of HIMSS membership products and services, ensuring their continuous improvement and alignment with the needs of our members in the APAC region.
    • Manage and fulfill membership benefits.
    • Work with marketing team to ensure database and master stakeholder list is up to date.
    • Point of contact for membership related enquiries
    • Provide monthly membership reports and trend analysis.
  • Community Engagement and Events:
    • Manage special events not limited to logistics, travel arrangements, guesting for VIP programs.
    • Secretariat work for various communities and committees.
    • Liaise with C-Suites and Senior Leadership from various stakeholders and partners.
  • Registration:
    • Generate and analyze registration report for trends and errors.
    • Manage and track revenue collection.
    • Work with the marketing team on the post-event attendee data.
    • Assist with event registrations enquiries.
  • General Administration and Office Support:
    • Provide executive assistance to Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific and other general office administration.

What you will need to be successful:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-3 years relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent editing and writing skills, with an ability to logically process information.
  • Ability to take projects seriously and produce work quickly, but also curious enough to ask questions.
  • Able to be adaptable and thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in addressing challenges and embracing new opportunities as they arise.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
