The purpose of this position is to assist the Analytics Provider Sales team with administrative oversight for the pipeline, customer engagements, and delivery of sales and marketing collateral. This position will assist account executives as HIMSS Analytics’ secondary contact for prospects. He or she is responsible for positioning and educating customers regarding all HIMSS analytics products and services in accordance with approved sales policies and programs, and with representing HIMSS Analytics in accordance with its policies, maintaining an awareness of competitive conditions, and reporting them back to management. He or she maintains continuing sales engagements and utilizes HIMSS data systems and CRM to manage related proposals, tasks, notes, and documents.


Essential Functions: 

  1. SDR / Lead Management: Initial outreach to inbound leads using templates, lead management in SalesForce, contact clean up (adding to SalesForce for accounting/record-keeping purposes), strategic outbound campaigns (working with marketing and SMEs to help self-generate leads)

  2. Sales Force Updates and Clean-Up: Manage new and curate existing opportunities in Salesforce. Make sure notes, tasks, close dates, and close percentages each month are up-to-date and clean. Ensure each opportunity has uploaded associated documents, tagged emails, and tagged appointments.

  3. Adding 2023 Opportunities: Go through spreadsheets and conduct information clean-up to know what's real revalidation opportunities. Pull the number of Hospitals and Clinics to accurately represent the Opportunity

  4. Assist with 3-Year Forecast: Go through spreadsheets and do a LOT of information clean-up to know what's real revalidation opportunities. Pull the number of Hospitals and Clinics to accurately represent the Opportunity

  5. Strategic Account Planning: Help the Account Manager in planning out strategic deals and identify opportunities 

  6. Customization and Management of Customer-facing Documents: Includes contracts, collateral, and Documents for each opportunity

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience

  • A minimum of One (1) year of related work experience

  • Strong desire to build a career in sales or sales operations

  • Values professional mentoring and career development in sales or sales operations

  • Desire to contribute to consultative problem-solving relationships with healthcare executives

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Superior planning skills, both strategic and tactical

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships

  • Desire to invest in a process of lifelong learning is an asset, especially where related to healthcare information systems and technology
