The Media team at HIMSS is a digital healthcare information and performance media group serving a global audience of healthcare technology decision-makers, and influencers. Through our portfolio of media brands, including Healthcare IT News, Healthcare Finance News, MobiHealthNews, HIMSS TV, Health 2.0, and Accelerate, we aim to educate, inform, and engage a global community united by a desire to fix healthcare’s biggest challenges. Through HIMSS’ Customer Data Platform and our Strategic Marketing Services, we provide research, content analytics, content creation and data-driven insight to help clients build focused marketing strategies and solutions that drive measurable ROI.


The main function of this position is to support overseeing fulfillment of HIMSS media campaigns and programs and provide tactical support to our Sales and Client Success teams for account management and revenue needs. This is an opportunity for a driven self-starter to join our Media Operations team with the role focusing on

  • supporting the delivery processes for our integrated marketing solution capabilities
  • supporting end to end management of all operational activities associated with delivery and fulfillment of Media products and services
  • establishing scalable business optimizations & processes in all phases of the campaign life cycle

The ideal candidate will support running client media campaigns, with an integrated solutions driven mindset, focus on client services, and have a genuine enthusiasm for the MarTech and digital media industries / products and will exude a passion for establishing scalable processes in all phases of campaign implementation and delivery.  


Essential Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Couples understanding of context and business need with knowledge of digital advertising and lead/demand generation productized marketing solutions to project manage and drive processes in delivery and fulfillment of large scope digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide logistics, service and support for all elements of the Product Delivery for assigned HIMSS Media Programs
  • Efficiently & accurately produce all materials to support Program Delivery according to the Service Model
  • Monitor Operations to ensure production standards are met through quality control processes
  • Communicate with Clients and Delivery Teams at each stage of a program

Customer Success and Sales Support:

  • Works collaboratively and independently with various teams within Media and cross-functional
  • Proactively provide clear and concise across multiple formats throughout the campaign life cycle.
  • Ensures alignment and understanding of all campaign launch considerations through communication of implementation status, associated risks to client objectives, and the launch schedule (planned vs actual).
  • Monitor multiple campaigns, identify positive and negative trends, and recommend adjustments.
  • Support sales and client success with revenue oversight and upsell opportunities.
  • Support sales and client success in facilitating the delivery of clarifying technical communication to clients regarding HIMSS productized marketing solutions.

Business Optimization & Scalable Process:

  • Contribute to the development of best practices to improve our campaigns by keeping up with trends, tools, and successes within the industry

What you will need to be successful:


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience years in campaign management and / or program management supporting B2B or B2C media services.
  • Prior exposure to digital advertising and lead/demand generation
  • Comfortable presenting and translating information to key stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to balance delivery of results, problem solving, and client management
  • Ability to pull insights from data that are meaningful and measurable for our clients
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity and experience with campaign/project management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • A well-rounded knowledge of other digital media is a plus
