Essential Functions:

  • Support Sales Teams across the HIMSS organization with data requests, reporting, dashboards, Salesforce access/errors and other sales operations needs.
  • Produce and update daily, weekly and ad hoc reports for use in Sales Meetings and in support of the business. Assist with design and build of advanced reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Provide support for developing budgets and forecasts for Territories and Products as needed. Assist with the change management needs related to budgets and forecasts.
  • Understand the business needs for each functional group using Salesforce and develop solutions to meet (and potentially integrate) those needs across the organization. Using this understanding of HIMSS business needs, define, implement and champion Salesforce best practice across the organization.
  • Handle basic Salesforce administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks. Assist in training new users and grow the Salesforce skill set for users across the organization.
  • Assist with Salesforce technical issues and serve as the technical point-of-contact for team members throughout issue Collaborate internally to create clear documentation of prototypes and proof of concept for Salesforce projects. Assist with solution assessment, solution specification document, scope, and estimates.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of tools and platforms associated with Salesforce including (but not limited to) Fonteva, ZoomInfo, Conga, Wrike, and NetSuite. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge across all applications, customers, and business units’ customers/user across multiple functional areas. 

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and experience working in Salesforce Lightening. Salesforce Admin Certification highly preferable. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience using Salesforce and components such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Mobile, Single Sign On, API’s, and integration to enterprise systems; one (1) year as a Salesforce administrator is preferable.
  • Experience building reports (standard and joined reports) and dashboards (applying formulas and conditional formatting, etc.) in Salesforce Lighting.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to understand data sets and provide visually compelling analysis.
  • Experience working with data sets: data management, data hygiene, data transfers, etc.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements to internal and external partners with varying degrees of technical acumen.
  • Experience documenting project needs, technical errors, new functionality requirements, etc.
  • Advanced/intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formula writing, VLookup, etc.) required. Advanced/intermediate MS Office skills highly desirable.
  • The ability to work independently and with teams in a high paced, deadline-driven sales environment.
  • Attention to detail, an understanding of the Digital Media industry and knowledge of Sales best practices preferred.
