Healthbox is seeking a creative, passionate, and driven professional with a deep understanding of healthcare to join our consulting team. The position will focus on supporting and delivering our innovation services, including Innovation & Digital Strategy, Innovation programs, Commercialization, Analysis, Solution Sourcing, and more.

 

  • Manage daily operations and client relationships for innovation and strategy engagements
  • Facilitate client engagements to evaluate, refine, and advance innovative ideas with strong commercial potential and/or capability to scale across the client organization
  • Oversee creation of detailed business plans for healthcare inventions, including analysis of the market opportunity, solution/use case(s), competitive landscape, workflow/implementation requirements, financial requirements for growth, etc.
  • Lead prioritization of client organizational pain points; source, evaluate, and facilitate the selection of digital health companies to address those pain points
  • Leverage existing Healthbox frameworks and processes, while also creating new ones, to support creation of tailored solutions as client challenges are identified and assessed
  • Support business development through creation of sales materials and proposals to drive new business with existing and/or prospective clients
  • Potential to manage/mentor analyst(s) and support their professional growth
  • Participate in Healthbox thought leadership by staying up-to-date on digital health, innovation and healthcare news/trends; develop thought-provoking collateral for current and potential clients and stakeholders
  • Attend key events and conferences to represent Healthbox and our mission

What you will need to be successful:

 

  • Demonstrated leadership, vision, and strategy: this candidate must be able to think at a high level to influence strategy and mission while being able to get “in the weeds” and execute flawlessly on operational problems
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong communication skills
  • Highly collaborative work-style; pragmatic and resourceful problem-solver, with intellectual curiosity and an exceptional drive
  • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, quantitative, and qualitative analytic skills
  • Experience leading and working across multiple complex projects at once
  • Deep understanding of clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact healthcare organization decision-making
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MHA degree preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience, primarily within consulting, healthcare, or technology industries
  • Capability and desire to build relationships and network within the healthcare industry
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time required, but Chicago-based
  • Authorization to work in the US; Healthbox will not sponsor visas
