Your Challenge: We are looking for a skilled Digital Engagement Director to join our team and act as the face and voice of our brand. You will take the pulse of individual users and communities, across our platform to determine the best strategy to invite engagement at each stage of the user journey that will drive measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a storyteller with excellent editorial instincts who possesses a creative knack for leveraging digital touchpoints to reach and engage users at scale. This role is right for you if you are an agile thinker, part planner, part producer, part creative, with smart copywriting skills and a passion for community management that’s rooted in strategy and insights. If you are a tech-savvy professional with experience in the areas of social media, user engagement, events, and promotions, we would like to meet you.

 

The things that you will tackle:

  • From onboarding to advocacy, you will work closely with members of product, marketing, analytics, and user support to design and implement an engagement strategy to address the needs of users and organizations at each stage of the journey
  • Lead our engagement optimization program by proposing, designing, executing, and reporting out on test results
  • Develop and maintain best practices, playbooks, and training artifacts for employees as well as external group leaders
  • Own the platform channel, set the tone, and leverage significant reach to share the most compelling and relevant information via a strategy you will create and manage
  • Be the face and voice of the platform by creating, managing, and staring in, our user engagement video series
  • Organize, manage, run, and participate in digital events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Partner with our content and marketing teams to develop engaging assets (text, images, surveys, promotions, polls, and video) to be shared by respective community leads
  • Interacting with users, responding to comments, and sparking conversations promptly
  • Monitor, quantify, and report on feedback, sentiment, and reviews
  • Create, support, and optimize our ambassador and influencer programs
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Content, and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Liaise with Product and Business Development teams to stay updated on new products, features, and user priorities
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and journalists
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

What you will need to be successful:

  • BA degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 7+ years proven work experience of creating compelling brand stories, content, and marketing promotion campaigns
  • Minimum 4 years of experiencing with social media brand management
  • Proven experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching ambassador programs, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
  • International experience and knowledge of diverse cultural, social, and business landscapes is a plus
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable producing short-form video assets (demos, feature highlights, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
